When the wrist rotates the radius folds over the ulna. This rotation allows for greater rotation of the wrist.

Controlling the grip of the hand (creating the clenched fists in this drawing) are the flexor muscles. These muscles have long tendons that run into the hand while the meat of the muscle is collected around the upper region of the lower arm. They are very easy to locate if you feel the change in size and tension of this region with one hand while clenching your fist with the other.
